Do you want someone meddling in your affairs? Of course not if it's of a personal nature. Although I don't wave off concern, I will say if your snooping causes problems for me than I'm soooo not agreeable to it. But there may be upside to this in business. Perhaps meddling has a new definition and the benefits could be greater. Who would resist that? No one- I know right. So I betcha want me to get on with the point. Okay

Most mornings/afternoons I get up and try and read or view something pertaining to my career and interests as well as something inspiring. I think when you start your day off well the whole day goes better or at least has a better chance of doing so. Well today, I was reading an article that said mentoring is outdated but meddling is in!!!! I'm not sure what to make of it. They used it as an interesting alternative to mentoring which was to essentially acquaint yourself with exploring diverse interest and making a connection with those who you can while not limiting your range of exposure- thus we have a new definition for meddling or at least in the business sense. hmmm. At the end of the day, it still seemed similar to mentoring. But I think the approach is different. I can get with that. But in a personal sense, well I still raise an eyebrow at the thought of it all.
~Thoughts on redefining an old-way of doing things and things that make you go hmmmm~

Moments in Love (I shared this with you in 2013) I thought it was a great way to say hello again and wish you Happy Valentines Day

Moments in Love (Reflections by Taneisa Grier) Real & true love isn't sacrificial. Only fools choose to loose time for tomorrows that aren't promised. It's our "todays" love that even carries us to the future love. Find me a "man" who’s experienced health and prosperity and see if he discounts love as being a measure of that blessing. To each its own though. But for me-bid me a love that is true and sweet. A memory of a portion of "good" love may seem like forever in a short span of time. The feeling never leaving and the essence of a touch, though fading still remembered.   "I traced his steps back to the place" where I first exhaled and realized the beauty of this moment is in the feelings that I carry away after the exchange. If fleeting, we might call it lust. But if this pure moment is lasting, we have just seen the love of God in each of us, mirrored reflection of "on earth as it is in heaven". Might I be a b...

Stairwells to the 2nd-3rd Floor Pretty Uncommon in Hospitals

I really was hesitant to write about this on my blog. The content seemed a bit dark and well not the news topic I wanted to write about on Awesome. But I couldn't help it. I was compelled because I thought for all the steps one would take on their pedometer, in some places, it would begin once you took the elevator to the 2nd floor hmmm. Getting to the point- I realized how easy it was for a women to be in the stairwell of a hospital and not be found until several days or weeks afterwards, and that's because many health professionals at hospitals don't take the stairs. What!!!!! That's right long gone are the days for steps you once trekked in jr. high, high school and college. So what if something is wrong with elevator well there must be a plan C because plan B is likely not the steps. To be fair I can understand why you'd monitor the steps and the hospitals. They should be. Good security never hurts. However, to not know the diagram or layout makes my eyes wide...

Back to School and kind gestures

So I think we're in to the swing of things. Children have an idea of teacher's expectations are and teachers have done a few assessments on their students and where their strengths and weaknesses allow. You're past the back to school jitters and have begun to actually build on the learning and education you received last year. This is why this post isn’t really amount the traditional aspect of education but about character building. I know it's a sensitive subject at times but it's time to observe and correct our children in terms of behavior. For those of you who don't have to do it it's wonderful you've probably done a great job in those early years and it's second nature for a student to think about their behavior and how they represent their family away from home. If I can digress for a minute, growing up that was a big conversation piece at our dinner table. We were always told when you walk out that door you represent our family. I don't ...
