Do you want someone meddling in your affairs? Of course not if it's of a personal nature. Although I don't wave off concern, I will say if your snooping causes problems for me than I'm soooo not agreeable to it. But there may be upside to this in business. Perhaps meddling has a new definition and the benefits could be greater. Who would resist that? No one- I know right. So I betcha want me to get on with the point. Okay

Most mornings/afternoons I get up and try and read or view something pertaining to my career and interests as well as something inspiring. I think when you start your day off well the whole day goes better or at least has a better chance of doing so. Well today, I was reading an article that said mentoring is outdated but meddling is in!!!! I'm not sure what to make of it. They used it as an interesting alternative to mentoring which was to essentially acquaint yourself with exploring diverse interest and making a connection with those who you can while not limiting your range of exposure- thus we have a new definition for meddling or at least in the business sense. hmmm. At the end of the day, it still seemed similar to mentoring. But I think the approach is different. I can get with that. But in a personal sense, well I still raise an eyebrow at the thought of it all.
~Thoughts on redefining an old-way of doing things and things that make you go hmmmm~

Moments in Love (I shared this with you in 2013) I thought it was a great way to say hello again and wish you Happy Valentines Day

Moments in Love (Reflections by Taneisa Grier) Real & true love isn't sacrificial. Only fools choose to loose time for tomorrows that aren't promised. It's our "todays" love that even carries us to the future love. Find me a "man" who’s experienced health and prosperity and see if he discounts love as being a measure of that blessing. To each its own though. But for me-bid me a love that is true and sweet. A memory of a portion of "good" love may seem like forever in a short span of time. The feeling never leaving and the essence of a touch, though fading still remembered.   "I traced his steps back to the place" where I first exhaled and realized the beauty of this moment is in the feelings that I carry away after the exchange. If fleeting, we might call it lust. But if this pure moment is lasting, we have just seen the love of God in each of us, mirrored reflection of "on earth as it is in heaven". Might I be a b...

TO THE GRADUATE 2016

TO THE GRADUATE 2016 August 1, 2016 To myself, students, and life learners who understand the value of education, knowledge and wisdom. Getting to graduation feels like a voyage with topsy turvy winds. You finally get the hang of it and realize wow I made it –destination arrived. The last day of your final class come and gone or in the fast approaching and the walk across the once elusive stage is near; it’s actually within reach closer than it’s ever been. The day to change the tassel on your graduation cap to the left has arrived. The last door to the academic building you spent the most time in closes behind you. It was designed with lecture rooms and they happened to house many of your secret dreams over the last 4-5 years. And the sometimes sun shadowed hallways lead the way to several doors that will take you to success and journeys which lead to accomplishments.  photo courtesy of the internet The Commencements both an end and beginning to the possibilit...

Where to...

Thought for the day Ethics should not be reduced so low that we ravage the innocence, moral character, or integrity of society. To do so is to morally bankrupt the fabric of our existence. You don't want to look around and have to wonder if there is anything good left to hold on to. I'll tell you the truth, TV has really opened my eyes. As I've said in previous posts, I've never been a big TV watcher. But the past several months has been a provocation of sorts. Many revelations have been positive and insightful but a great deal more have been heartbreaking. Albeit most shows are meant to entertain but, they still create opportunities to learn, often indicating we've got to check our internal compass to make sure we are headed in a positive direction, making our world a better place to live.
