Totally Perturbed!

Let me just say this from the outset, I'm thankful for anyone who helped carry any of my boxes. I truly am. But have you ever moved, had everything packed up in a certain place, go to look for it and it's not there or  better yet you can't find it all together? Well I have 2  desktop computers neither of which are any help to me at this very moment. Why? Because the disk recovery and other software are nowhere to be  found. And yes, you guessed it, I need them. It will probably show up when I get a new computer and no longer have urgent use for them any more. Here's the thing, if anyone needed something from me all they had to do was ask. Or better yet just leave all my things in one spot. But given that there's no one in the house who would have any use for my things makes for an even more frustrating experience. sheesh :-(

Okay, now that I got that out, I can go for a much needed walk. I suppose it's true that getting some fresh air does provide a better perspective (although I don't think so in this case) but at the very least it can help me create the positive energy flow I need for the rest of my day. Thanks for letting me vent.

The Day After Christmas

Christmas day was great. I didn't go to bed until the wee hours again and needless to say I was wrapping gifts at 4:30 that morning as the children rose ready to open their presents. It probably would be useless to most to continue wrapping when everyone would open them minutes after but I did so anyway. I like to do it and wrapping gifts is as much a part of the Christmas festivities as decorating the tree. And just as Christmas day was fun so was the day after.  We followed up Christmas dinner with a fish fry and a game of spades. After Christmas Practical Suggestion

I'm really not an expert in this area but, after going over a few records for a family member, I quickly understand the importance of not just tossing your bank statements around and not viewing them. I saw where they were paying for subscriptions almost three times the normal amount. Having said that, many of you will get those bank statements detailing all the great gifts you have given. But you may want to double check them.  Make sure you haven't been billed twice for the same thing or billed for something you didn't purchase at all. With theft at an all time high, it's not unlikely for this to happen. Remember to keep tabs of your records. Lately I've been taking note of information regarding fraud and identity theft and it seems that the holiday season is a peak time for these unfortunate situations to take place. Whatever you endeavor to do, let it be yours. Never let anyone try and project their thoughts as yours, their feelings, or their motives. No, let every man reason for himself seeking God to find their perspective. We should never try to attach our needs to someone else except we commune together.
